‘Ashes’ is a fantasy I wrote for my first NaNoWriMo, the main character is a little girl in the physical, worldly plane, but a powerful reincarnated being in the other plane where magic is drawn from. She and her guardian run a kind of spy service where they attend parties of rich people and gather data (they are Host kind of people?).
